PURPOSE:To provide a collagen matrix into which neutrophils and macrophages are liable to infiltrate in an early time and fibroblasts are liable to advance while maintaining physical strength by adding an ascorbic acid and copper into a reconstituted fibrillated atelocollagen soln., then concentrating this soln. CONSTITUTION:The collagen matrix obtd. by adding the ascorbic acid and the copper into the reconstituted fibrillated atelocollagen soln., then concentrating the soln. is used as the cell infiltratable medical material. This cell infiltratable medical material has excellent affinity to the living body and more particularly the skin part and its stability to the living body is enhanced by the treatment with the ascorbic acid-copper. The fibroblasts are induced in an early time if the material is adapted to the wound surface when the skin is damaged by a wound, burn, sore, etc. The material is thus effective for early heeling of the damaged part. |
