PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, which is good in processability, and is capable of being improved in braking performance on a wet road surface without spoiling rolling resistance of the tire; and to provide a tire using the rubber composition, and being improved in braking performance on a wet road surface without spoiling rolling resistance.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a tire contains at least one rubber component (A) selected from dienic synthetic rubbers and natural rubbers, silica (B), at least one compound (C) selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by formula (1), and a silane coupling agent (D), wherein the blend amount of the silica (B) is 20 parts by mass to 120 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A); the mass ratio (represented by [a blend amount of (C)/a blend amount of (B)]) of the blend amount of the compound (C) to the blend amount of the silica (B) is 0.001 to 0.5. |
