PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the mechanical strength of oil palm trunks by utilizing components oil palm trees originally have, and use the oil palm trunks as low-priced materials hardly pulverizing without wasting the palm trunks.SOLUTION: An oil palm trunk WD is sawed into base materials W with a prescribed width, prescribed thickness and prescribed length. The sawn oil palm base materials W are compressed under prescribed conditions of temperature and compressive force, left to stand for a prescribed time with the extension thereof in directions perpendicular to the applied compressive force direction suppressed, decompressed after the temperature decreases to a prescribed temperature, and immobilized. The base materials W are consolidated with resin components and saccharide components contained in oil palm base materials W by the immobilization so that each of the consolidated oil palm base materials W has a thickness with vascular bundles A unbroken. |
