PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly improve linearity by adjusting a current additively supplied to a parasitic resistance in accordance with an input code to make a reference voltage applied to an R-2R type D/A converter independent of the input code.SOLUTION: A D/A converter that includes a capacity division type D/A converter connected to reference current wiring to D/A-convert upper k bits of input data and the R-2R type D/A converter connected to the reference current wiring to D/A-convert the remaining lower m bits of the input data, and adds an output voltage of the capacity division type D/A converter and an output voltage of the R-2R type D/A converter to produce an output voltage is provided with a current smoothing circuit connected in parallel with the R-2R type D/A converter to additionally supply a compensation current to a parasitic resistance of the reference current wiring. The current smoothing circuit additionally supplies a compensation current depending on the lower m bits of data to the parasitic resistance. |
