The system (10) has a measuring unit (12) for temperature measurement of wheel sets of a rail vehicle passing on a rail. A load sensor monitors the measurement unit and detects mechanical loads acting on the measurement unit. A temperature sensor (26) and a humidity sensor (28) measure an internal sate value of the measurement unit. The load sensor, the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor are connected to an evaluation unit (30), which is adapted to determine a value representing a load state of the measurement unit. The load sensor is designed as an acceleration sensor (22), a force sensor, a piezoelectric sensor, a magnetic-inductive sensor, a micromechanical sensor, a strain gauge and an optical waveguide sensor. |
