PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler in which a followability against load is improved.SOLUTION: A boiler with a combustion apparatus is operated such that combustion amounts are set in advance in a stepwise manner and they are changed over in response to a load. A plurality of ignition sequences corresponding to the combustion amounts are set in advance, an appropriate ignition sequence is selected from the plurality of set ignition sequences and executed on the basis of a required combustion amount at the time of starting combustion. In addition, when the combustion amounts are controlled at four positions of high combustion, middle combustion, low combustion and stop in combustion, it is set in advance that the ignition sequence is selected from the middle combustion ignition sequence where ignition occurs under the middle combustion and the low combustion ignition sequence where ignition occurs under the low combustion, when the high combustion is required and the middle combustion is required, the ignition occurs under the middle combustion ignition sequence and when the low combustion is required, the ignition occurs under the low combustion ignition sequence. |
