The present invention provides a PDN connection reestablishing method, a reset central server, a mobility management network element, and a data gateway. The method includes: receiving, by the reset central server, a first message sent by the data gateway, where the first message includes first identification information; determining, by the reset central server according to the first identification information, an identifier, of the mobility management network element, corresponding to the first identification information; and sending, by the reset central server, a second message to the mobility management network element corresponding to the identifier of the mobility management network element, where the second message includes an identifier of user equipment, so that the mobility management network element reestablishes a packet data network PDN connection of the user equipment according to the second message. According to the present invention, a PDN connection affected by reset of a network device can be reestablished, and user experience is improved. |
