Provided are a image surveillance device and a method thereof. The image surveillance device for acquiring images of a surveillance area may include: a setting unit that sets preset information including at least one of pan, tilt, and zoom information for a camera so that the camera can acquire images of a place corresponding to a trade name; and a control unit that controls the camera to acquire images of the place corresponding to the trade name on the basis of the preset information when a request for images corresponding to the trade name is inputted. According to the present invention, the manager may be more quickly and easily check the images for the periphery of the place where the trade name exists by controlling the camera on the basis of the preset information matched with the trade name. |
