A method and a system of providing a garment with low aerodynamic drag comprising; providing a database 34 containing different adopted body shapes and one or more garments with a low aerodynamic drag for each of the body shapes, determining an adopted body shape using a device such as a 3D laser scanner 36, entering data 32 relating to the adopted body shape and by means of a computer 30 and identifying at least one adopted body shape that is similar to the adopted body shape of the individual, selecting from the database 34 at least one garment having a low aerodynamic drag with the identified body shape, and using the database 34 to provide a garment for the individual person that matches one or more characteristics of the selected garment. The method and system provides an individual with a tailored garment that has low aerodynamic drag for their adopted body shape, without requiring them to take part in wind tunnel testing 20. |
