PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump hot water supply unit using a heat pump with electricity being applied as energy and a combustion type heat source machine with gas being applied as energy in which an energy saving characteristic thereof can be maximized in view of bearing all thermal loads under application of the heat pump and the combustion type heat source machine.SOLUTION: In regard to a thermal load predicted for a time band of every prescribed unit time on the basis of past actual record information, a simulation is carried out in which an output heat quantity obtained under a virtual driving operation of a heat pump at the present time or subsequent to the present time is distributed in sequence from the thermal load predicted for the latest time band, and in regard to each driving operation pattern of the simulation, a determination index for determining a save energy characteristic is calculated by virtual save energy operation calculation processing means 15. Save energy operation control means 17 determines whether or not the heat pump is actually driven and operated at present on the basis of the determination index of every calculated driving operation pattern. |
