PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant organic fiber that excels in both radioactive shielding properties and durability, particularly cut resistance.SOLUTION: In a heat-resistant organic fiber, the fiber contains at least one kind of inorganic particles comprising an elementary substance or a compound composed of a chemical element whose atomic number is equal to or greater than 40, and some of the inorganic particles are exposed on the surface of the fiber, with an area ratio of exposed inorganic particles on the surface of the fiber being 25-60%. |
