PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic gas meter capable of properly determining gas leakage during open valve returning of a cutoff valve according to a situation while reducing a cost.SOLUTION: Pressure measuring means 12 for measuring the pressure of gas G is provided on a downstream side of a cutoff valve 11 in a measuring channel 6. The cutoff valve 11 is a single direction type which can operate open valve returning. Control means 9 is configured so as to alternatively execute retuning time leakage determining processing of a flow rate measuring type which determines gas leakage on the basis of measurement information of ultrasonic flow rate measuring means M, and returning time leakage determining processing of pressure measuring type which switches the cutoff valve 11 to a close valve state and determines the gas leakage on the basis of measurement information of the pressure measuring means 12, as returning time leakage determining processing. |
