The present invention provides stable aqueous formulations for treating a disorder modulated by bovine Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor (bG-CSF) comprising bG-CSF-T133pAF-20K PEG, a citrate or succinate buffer substance and arginine, wherein said formulations comprise less than 0.001% of a surfactant. The present invention also provides methods of treating an animal having mastitis or shipping fever comprising administering to the animal a therapeutically effective amount of the above stated formulations.
