The invention relates to a method of producing a refrigeration insulation liner wherein a polymer is melted forming a molten polymer, another polymer is melted and foamed forming a foamed molten polymer, the molten polymer and the foamed molten polymer are extruded together so that two solid polymeric sheets are formed from the foamed molten polymer, wherein the solid polymeric sheets and the foamed polymeric sheet merge together forming an oriented multilayer polymeric sheet including a foam layer having a thickness of 50 to 95% of the total thickness of the polymeric sheet, and two solid layers positioned alongside the foam layer so that the product obtained has a three-layer "A-B-A" structure; the multi-layer polymeric sheet is hot-formed to produce a liner, the liner being an insulator and resisting to destruction in case of a contact with a refrigerant medium. The invention also relates to a refrigeration insulation liner and to a refrigeration apparatus including a liner produced by the described method. |
