The invention is related to the design of a track superstructure and can be used for fastening rails to under-rail bases, in particular, to sleepers. The rail fixing assembly includes a rail pad made of a composite material as an integral part with a base, having two central transverse projections restricting the under-rail area, under-terminal sections are disposed on the opposite sides of the under-rail area, said under-terminal sections carrying spring-loaded terminals that press the rail underside to said rail pad, each under-terminal section being provided with a support projection located adjacent to the periphery portion of the rail pad base. The novel feature is that each under-terminal section has two recesses for accommodation of branches of a spring terminal that is approximately Ω-shaped in plan with a rectilinear on-rail section, the recesses being made in the support projection and overlap partially the raised stepwise peripheral section of the rail pad base. The technical result is higher operational reliability of the rail fixing assembly.
