The method involves sucking-out vapors from a pre-treatment system (1) during a pre-treatment of a workpiece (7), which is transported by a transport apparatus (5) i.e. overhead conveyor. Surrounding air (10) is introduced into the pre-treatment system for compensating the sucked air volume. Exhaust air (11) of an exhaust system (2) is injected into the pre-treatment system in addition to the surrounding air, where temperature of the exhaust air injected into the pre-treatment system is higher than that of the surrounding air during penetrating into the pre-treatment system. The exhaust system is designed as an additional system component that is selected from a group consisting of a paint dryer, an adhesive water dryer, a food-extraction dryer door, a lock, an evaporation zone and/or a cooling zone. An independent claim is also included for a pre-treatment system. |
