The invention relates to an equipment meant to train and rehabilitate the weight bearing joints of a lower limb by passive continuous motion. According to the invention, the equipment comprises a rectangular frame (1), made of 4 standardized aluminium profiles, joined by some screws, a movable slide (2) manufactured of a standardized aluminium profile and a system (3) of joined rods, the profiles of the frame (1) being provided with some T-type longitudinal channels for fastening some components of the equipment and also serving as rolling track for the movable slide (2) which slides along the large sides of the rectangular frame (1) by means of four rolls (4), the system (3) of joined rods is formed of two identical quadrilater mechanisms placed in parallel, having a synchronous motion, ensured by the fact that the two mechanisms are linked to one another by means of a spacer (5), the system (3) playing the role of sustaining the patient's leg, facilitating the patient's continuous passive rehabilitation motion, and the thigh is sustained by means of a textile support (6), the shank is sustained by means of another textile support (7), and the foot is supported in a rigid support (8), the rod mechanisms having a fixed joint (O) and other mobile joints (A, B and D), the last being attached to the movable slide (2), the joints (O and D) being materialized as fork-eye-bolt subassembly (9), and some rods (10) which form the articulated system are tubular, the straight reciprocating motion of the movable slide (2) being achieved by a pneumatic muscle (11), having one of its ends fixed to the rectangular frame (1) and the free opposite end being linked by means of flexible and inextensible steel wire (13) to the slide (2), the wire (13) being passed over a moving roll (12) and over a fixed roll (14), a mobile pulley system being obtained thereby. |
