The invention is related to a new copolymer CP in the form of a polymer synthesized from at least three mono ethylene unsaturated monomers M consisting of polymerized units from: α) from 5 to 60 wt.% based on the total amount of monomers M of at least one mono ethylene unsaturated monomer M1 having at least one sulphoacid group and selected from monomers of formula Iwhere n has meanings 0, 1, 2 or 3; X is O or NR; Ris hydrogen or methyl; R, R, independently of each other, are hydrogen or C-C-alkyl, and Ris hydrogen or C-C-alkyl; β3) is from 20 to 90 wt.% based on the total amount of monomers M of at least one mono ethylene unsaturated monomer M2a(1) having water solubility at 20°C within a range of 1 to <50 g/l, where monomer M2a(1) is methyl methacrylate; and β4) from 5 to 60 wt.% based on the total amount of monomers M of at least one second monomer M2a(2) having water solubility at 20°C less than 1 g/l and selected from C-C-alkyl acrylates and C-C-alkyl methacrylates. |
