a memory device comprising at least a page; and a controller configured to check a size of a restricted region in the page, set a seed offset according to the size of the restricted region in the page, randomize data using the seed offset at each cycle, and store the randomized data in the page, wherein the cycle is one of a program/erase (P/E) cycle and an erase/write (E/W) cycle, and wherein the restricted region is not used for storing data in the page.
