The invention relates to a braking system for hydraulic displacement motors employed to displace high-inertia mobile elements. According to the invention, the system comprises at each end a braking chamber (C) and a safety valve (S), where, upon a piston (1) passing from high speed (V) to low speed (V), within the braking chamber (C) there takes place a compression whose value is limited by a safety valve (S) consisting of a body (9), a ball (11), a helical spring (13) and an adjusting screw (14), the safety valve (S) being placed in each of the flanges (2 and 3) so that the passing from the high speed (V) to the low speed (V) is free of discontinuities and shaking, irrespective of the ratio between the speeds (Vand V) and the value of the mobile element integral with the piston (1). |
