Pentamidine derivatives (I) are new. Pentamidine derivatives of formula (I) are new. n : 1-10. Independent claims are also included for: (1) salts, solvates and solvates of the salts of (I); (2) a medicament comprising (I) and optionally at least one inert and non-toxic auxiliary; and (3) preparing (I).
