The invention relates to a method for continuously producing molten steel from scrap metal, having the following steps: - melting scrap metal in a shaft furnace (1), - discharging the produced molten steel and the accumulated slag via a discharge opening (11) arranged in the lower part of the shaft furnace (1), - introducing the discharged molten steel and the slag into a continuous furnace (13), - superheating and refining the molten steel in the continuous furnace (13), - continuously discharging the molten steel and the slag separately from each other from the continuous furnace (13), - drawing furnace gas from the continuous furnace (13), and - using the furnace gas as combustion gas for a burner (7) of the shaft furnace (1), if necessary after an at least partial dust removal and/or scrubbing process. |
