A snow blower apparatus (1) for attachment to a vehicle (16) comprises a snow blower (S) with a throwing-wheel housing (7) and a throwing wheel (6) at least partially accommodated therein, a propeller shaft (3) which can be driven by a drive unit (2) and by means of which the throwing wheel (6) can be driven rotatably, a throwing-wheel mechanism (8) which is connected between the propeller shaft (3) and the throwing wheel (6) and has an input shaft (9) connected to the propeller shaft (3) and an output shaft (10) arranged offset axially with respect thereto, and a linear guide (L) which runs essentially horizontally, can be fastened to the vehicle (16) and on which the snow blower (S) is mounted in a laterally displaceable manner. In this case, the throwing-wheel mechanism (8) is mounted pivotably about the axis (A) of the output shaft (10) and, at a distance from the pivot axis (A), is connected to a torque support in such a manner that a lateral displacement of the snow blower (S) results in a rotation of the throwing-wheel mechanism (8) and in a displacement of the input shaft (9) of the throwing-wheel mechanism (8), which displacement is comparatively small in comparison to the lateral displacement of the snow blower (S) and contains a vertical component. |
