Pharmaceutical compositions comprising glycerol esters

Disclosed is injectable pharmaceutical compositions comprising: (a) a water-insoluble antipsychotic agent; (b) a glycerol ester of fatty acid; (c) an aqueous vehicle; wherein the composition forms an aqueous, flocculated, injectable suspension. In an embodiment the glycerol ester is sesame oil, olive oil, soybean oil, and coconut oil. These compositions are useful for the delivery of anti-psychotic drugs such as aripiprazole and olanzapine.
