The at least one of the plurality of systems comprises a security system. The method further comprises controlling the security system via the alarm system controller (206); receiving weather related data at the alarm system controller (206); modifying at least one system rule at least partially based on the received weather related data; and controlling at least one system (202a) of the plurality of systems via the alarm system controller (206) based at least partially on the at least one modified system rule.
