Disclosed are an automatic call pick-up method for a mobile terminal and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: upon an incoming call of a mobile terminal, acquiring, at a predetermined time interval, a pressure value and coordinate value of respective contact points where an ear of a current user contacts a touch screen; acquiring, according to the pressure values and coordinate values, an outer contour of the ear of the current user; selecting three ear locations in the outer contour to establish reference coordinate axes; acquiring, according to the reference coordinate axes, a relative coordinate value of respective contact points corresponding to respective locations in the outer contour; matching the relative coordinate values with prestored template coordinate values, wherein the template coordinate values are coordinate values of respective ear locations of a valid user with respect to the reference coordinate axes; and if the relative coordinate values match the prestored template coordinate values, then unlocking the mobile terminal and picking up the call. In this way, the present invention realizes automatic call pick-up via contacting a touch screen of a mobile terminal with an ear, thus facilitating using the mobile terminal for a user. |
