Provided are an inspection device capable of differentiating a leaking egg with relative ease and an egg differentiation system provided with this inspection device. This egg inspection device is provided with an ultraviolet light irradiation means for irradiating ultraviolet light onto an egg, an ultraviolet light imaging means for photographing the egg off the surface of which the ultraviolet light has been reflected, a visible light irradiation means for irradiating visible light onto the egg or an infrared light irradiation means for irradiating infrared light onto the egg, a transmission imaging means for photographing the egg through the inside of which the visible light or infrared light has been transmitted, and a determination means for determining the surface state of the egg on the basis of the ultraviolet image photographed by the ultraviolet light imaging means and the transmission image photographed by the transmission imaging means.
