A femoral cutting guide includes guide slots for guiding the movement of cutting tools relative to a distal portion of a femur, a surface feature adapted to at least partially conform to a resected surface of the distal portion of the femur, and either a posterior-facing surface adapted to conform to an anterior, unaltered surface of the distal portion of the femur or an anterior-facing surface adapted to conform to a posterior, unaltered surface of the distal portion of the femur. |
