DYNAMIC CALIBRATION OF AN AUDIO SYSTEM

Technologies pertaining to calibration of filters of an audio system are described herein. A mobile computing device is configured to compute values for respective filters, such as equalizer filters, and transmit the values to a receiver device in the audio system. The receiver device causes audio to be emitted from a speaker based upon the values for the filters.

1. A mobile computing device comprising:
a microphone; at least one processor; and memory that stores instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform acts comprising:
computing a value for a filter as a location of the mobile computing device alters in an environment, wherein the value for the filter is computed based upon music emitted from an audio system and captured by the microphone of the mobile computing device; andcausing data to be transmitted to the audio system, wherein the data comprises the value of the filter, and further wherein the audio system, responsive to receipt of the data, is configured to employ the value for the filter when emitting the music.
