A screenshot capturing method, terminal and set-top box. The method comprises: a terminal sends a screenshot capturing command to an external set-top box; the set-top box receives the screenshot capturing command sent by the external terminal; the set-top box captures a screenshot of a displayed content of a player according to the screenshot capturing command, generates screenshot data, and sends the screenshot data to the terminal; and the terminal receives the screenshot data and displays according to the screenshot data. The embodiment of the present invention provides an effective way for the terminal to control the set-top box to capture the displayed content of the player via the above described technical solution, thereby realizing a function of the terminal to remotely control the set-top box to capture the displayed content of the player, enabling a user to control the set-top box through the terminal in different places, thus satisfying the needs of the user and providing convenience therefor. |
