A female connector (10) is provided with a connector housing (13) having shape memory parts (23) formed from shape memory resin. The shape memory parts (23) store a mating shape by which the connector housing (13) can mate with a male connector (19). The shape memory parts (23) are deformable to a non-mating shape which the male connector (19) cannot mate with.
