Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of communications, and provide a radio remote unit (RRU), receiver, and base station, enabling a reduced number of reception channels and a reduced volume of the receiver, thereby facilitating miniaturization of the base station and a reduced cost of configuring the reception channels. Specifically, the RRU comprises: at least one reception channel pair, a first local oscillator module, a second local oscillator module, a local oscillator change-over switch, and a controller. Each reception channel pair comprises a first reception channel and a second reception channel. Each of the reception channels in each reception channel pair comprises: a filtering module, a frequency mixing module connected to the filtering module, and a digital processing module connected to the frequency mixing module. The frequency mixing module of the first reception channel is connected to the first local oscillator module. The frequency mixing module of the second reception channel is connected to the first local oscillator module and the second local oscillator module via the local oscillator change-over switch. The controller is configured for receiving an operation mode transmitted by a base station, and controlling a changeover of the local oscillator change-over switch. |
