A 3D display device comprises a display panel (10) configured to display an image and a grating structure (20) cooperating with the display panel (10) to create a 3D display effect. The grating structure (20) comprises multiple gratings capable of switching between a transparent state and an opaque state. The 3D display device further comprises: an eye tracking unit (30) configured to obtain an eye position of a viewer; and a control unit (40) connected to the eye tracking unit (30) and configured to control the gratings to switch between the transparent state and the opaque state according to the eye position of the viewer, such that a left eye of the viewer observes a first view image (1) on the display panel (10) via the grating structure (20), and a right eye of the observer observes a second view image (2) on the display panel (10) via the grating structure (20).
