The invention provides a web real-time communication platform authentication and access method and device. The method comprises: receiving a login request carrying verification information and transmitted by a web real-time communication application, verifying the login request transmitted by the web real-time communication application, and responding a login verification success message when the login verification of the verification information is successful; authenticating the verified information upon successful login verification, and transmitting, to the web real-time communication application, a valid access permission and a unique identity, to enable the web real-time communication application to direct, according to the unique identity, a user to a web real-time communication application page, and establish, according to the valid access permission, a connection to a web real-time communication server WS. The embodiment of the invention can enhance user account security on a web real-time communication service platform, providing security protection to the user using a web real-time communication service and the web real-time communication service platform. |
