There is provided a microwave ablation device, which comprises: a handle body (112); a microwave antenna (104) operatively coupled to the handle body (112); an outer jacket (108) surrounding the microwave antenna (104) to define a fluid volume, the outer jacket (108) defining a plurality of fluid distribution ports (114) in fluid communication with the fluid volume and configured to permit the flow of fluid into surrounding tissue; and an inflow tube (150) disposed in the fluid volume and configured to supply a cooling fluid (31) to the fluid volume such that the cooling fluid (31) absorbs heat from the microwave antenna (104) and is expelled through the plurality of fluid distribution ports (114). 901631D3 12412184 1 IRN: 901631D2
