An underpants-type absorbent article includes a front part, a rear part, a crotch part, a waist opening and leg openings. Outward end parts of the front part and the rear part are welded at welded parts formed in a non-continuous welding pattern along a vertical direction. Each end part has an inner area and an outer area. The welded parts are formed to a predetermined range along the vertical direction, such that a vertical dimension of a space between vertically adjacent welded parts in the inner area is larger than in the outer area. Each welded part has on a side of the waist opening a slanted shape portion slanting toward the corresponding leg opening in the vertical direction and outwardly in a horizontal direction. The welded parts are arranged along the vertical direction at the inner area in the predetermined range. |
