Disclosed are a connection method for a multimedia playing device, a master device, a control terminal, and a system. The method comprises: a master device receiving selection information based on a playing device information list and sent by a control terminal, determining a playing device to be connected according to the selection information, and acquiring wireless connection information about the playing device to be connected; and the master device sending the acquired wireless connection information to the control terminal, so that the control terminal establishes a wireless communication connection with the playing device to be connected according to the wireless connection information. By means of the technical solution, a user does not have to know connection information, such as the name of a wireless module and a password, which is used for a playing device to be connected to establish a wireless communication connection, and can realize an automatic connection between a control terminal and the playing device to be connected only by selecting the device name of the playing device to be connected in the playing device information list of the control terminal, and the operation process is simple and rapid, so that the user experience can be effectively improved. |
