The present invention relates to the field of security protection, and provides an unlocking method based on iris authentication, and a portable safe. The method comprises: recording first iris information and second iris information required for unlocking, the second iris information matching the first iris information; upon a user input of iris information, determining whether the iris information inputted by the user is the first iris information or the second iris information; if not, then terminating the determination, and remaining in a current state; if so, then prompting another user to input the other iris information matching the iris information inputted by the user within a certain period of time; determining whether other iris information inputted by the other user is the other iris information matching the user-inputted iris information; if not, then terminating the determination, and remaining in a current state; and if so, then unlocking a portable safe. By authenticating matching irises and only unlocking a portable safe if matching iris information is presented at the same time, the present invention provides protection for delivery of valuables. |
