An antivirus method and device for virtual machine, comprising: packaging an Application Programming Interface (API) (102), wherein the API is interfaced with an antivirus software from an antivirus vendor; and providing an antivirus engine (104) to a pre-deployed host communication agent within a virtual machine by means of the packaged API, wherein the virtual machine performs antivirus operation on resources of the virtual machine using the antivirus engine. Cases where the antivirus software cannot perform antivirus function on virtual machines are avoided and antivirus function for the virtual machine is achieved, improving the stability of the virtualized platform. |
