A method for purification of immunoglobulin containing proteins or parts thereof, from larger contaminants, comprising: a) contacting an immunoglobulin containing sample with chromatography beads comprising a thin lid with a defined pore size and an inner core of defined pore size provided with an affinity ligand; b) adsorbing the immunoglobulin containing proteins to the ligands; c) washing the beads to remove any contaminants; and d) eluting the beads to release the captured immunoglobulin containing proteins or parts thereof. |
