A water-based heavy-anticorrosion single-component primer for a rusty surface consists of the following compositions: deionized water, a main conversion agent, an auxiliary conversion agent, a penetrant, a coalescing agent, an anti-freezing agent, an anti-corrosion agent, a thickening agent, a filler, an antifoam agent, a dispersant, a pH modifier, a film former, and a substrate wetting agent. The main conversion agent is an EDTA, phytic acid or tannic acid metal ion complexing agent. The auxiliary conversion agent is one or more of oxalic acid, tartaric acid, and citric acid. To apply the primer, it is only required to simply remove loose rusts and old coatings on pipes, and it is not necessary to polish tightly adhered rusts completely. |
