An Internet of Things refrigerator and a usage method thereof, applicable to the technical field of household refrigerators. The usage method comprises the following steps: the lighting component (53) lights up, and the camera (55) films a real-time video of the inside of the cabinet body (11) and transmits the real-time video to a display screen of a specified mobile terminal by means of the wireless transmission module (4). By means of the present Internet of Things refrigerator and the usage method thereof, any family member can remotely check the state of the food in the refrigerator, for the convenience of use of the user, and by means of pushing patent information to an information display screen and the display screen of the mobile terminal, the interests of the creator of the intellectual property are protected. |
