[Problem] Provided is an electric power steering device in which it is possible to accurately suppress vibration and abnormal noise, etc., which are produced irrespective of the presence of mechanical resonance and which are produced by the power spectrum occurring due to the relationship between the torque control calculation period and the current control calculation period. [Solution] An electric power steering device provided with a torque control unit for calculating a current command value on the basis of at least the steering torque, and a current control unit for controlling a motor current flowing to a motor on the basis of the current command value, wherein the calculation period of the torque control unit is equal to or longer than the calculation period of the current control unit, and the current control unit is provided with a specific frequency band removal unit for attenuating, in the current command value, the component of at least one frequency that is a natural number multiple of a frequency equivalent to substantially half of the calculation frequency of the torque control unit. |
