An eye-protection tablet computer and a control method therefor, which relate to the technical field of tablet computers. The eye-protection tablet computer comprises a tablet computer body (10). The tablet computer body (10) comprises a frame assembly (11) and a display module (12) connected to the frame assembly (11). A camera (200) and a distance detector (190) that is used for detecting a distance between a human face and the display module (12) are disposed on a front side of the frame assembly (11). A loudspeaker (520), used for giving a prompt tone when the distance between the human face and the display module (12) detected by the distance detector (190) is less than a set value, is also disposed on the front side of the frame assembly (11). In the eye-protection tablet computer and the control method therefor, when a distance detector (190) detects that a distance between a human face and a display module (12) is less than a set value, a loudspeaker (520) on a tablet computer body (10) gives a prompt tone, so that a user can keep a proper distance between the eyes and a display module (12) of the eye-protection tablet computer, and accordingly the user can be prevented from eyestrain, myopia and the like due to an excessively short distance between the eyes and the screen, thereby facilitating use of the user. |
