The present invention provides an anchor master (AM) node management method and node. The method is used for a neighbor awareness networking, comprising: a first node receiving a first sync beacon frame sent by a second node in the neighbor awareness networking, the first sync beacon frame carrying first anchor master information, the anchor master information in the first node comprising a second anchor master rank (AMR), and the second AMR containing second MAC address information; when the first AMR is less than the second AMR, the first MAC address information and the second MAC address information are the same, and when the master node willingness value MR of the first node is greater than the first AMR, the first node updates the anchor information in the first node according to the first anchor master information; when the preset node state of the first node is sync, the first node sends a second sync beacon frame; or, when the preset node state of the first node is non-sync, the first node does not send any sync beacon frame, thereby solving the problem of excessive consumption of vent resources. |
