The invention relates to a cable or hose gland (1), comprising a hollow cylindrical connection piece (2) having a longitudinal axis (13) and a pressure element (9) having an end opening (15) for inserting and fastening a cable or a hose (16). A first seal element (18) is arranged inside the gland (1), which first seal element can be pressed against the cable/hose (16) by tightening the pressure element (9) about the longitudinal axis (13) in relation to the connection piece (2). When the cable/hose (16) is inserted through the end opening (15) of the pressure element (9), a gap (28) arises between the cable/hose (16) and the end opening (15). Because of a minimal friction surface between the first seal element (18) and the hose gland (1), and the pressure pressure element (9), it is ensured, reliably yet with reasonable application of force, that the formation of undesired deposits on the surroundings facing the surroundings can be kept as low as possible. |
