An Internet telephone connection processing method, comprising: receiving a call request message sent by a calling terminal, wherein the call request message is used to request to call a called terminal on a data network; if it is determined that the called terminal is currently not connected to the data network, instructing the called terminal to connect to the data network; and if it is determined that the called terminal is successfully connected to the data network, sending the call request message through the data network to the called terminal. The present invention addresses the problem in the related art in which a called terminal cannot be called through an Internet telephone anytime like an ordinary circuit-switched domain telephone, and therefore the called terminal does not need to connect to the data network all the time and can be called anytime like the ordinary circuit-switched domain telephone. |
