[Problem] To provide, when producing a 3D modeled object by ink jet stereolithography, a production method for a 3D modeled object which: has enough rigidity and solidity as support agent; allows for high-accuracy support; and can be efficiently removed after modeling without requiring a finishing step. A 3D modeled object produced using said production method is also provided. [Solution] A 3D modeled object can be produced with high accuracy and high efficiency by dipping in a cleaning solution (C) a roughly modeled object formed from a model material (A) to form the modeled object and a support material (B) to maintain the shape of the model material (A) during modeling, and by swelling of the support material (B) at a 10% or more swelling rate to retrieve said support material from the interface with the model material (A), said model material having a 1% or less swelling rate. Thus the support material can be easily and completely removed without imparting an external force. |
