PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which maintenance processing of a printer with a conventional technique cannot be properly executed in an application and a printer driver operating on a new OS.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises display control means which displays the first screen provided by an application associated with a printer driver with identification information. The printer driver cannot have a graphical user interface for print setting, displays the second screen for instructing maintenance processing in the printer in accordance with the instruction on the first screen, receives an instruction for maintenance processing on the second screen, and transmits a command for maintenance to the printer in accordance with the instruction received on the second screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
