PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both energy saving performance and comfort as user desires.SOLUTION: A main controller stops an outdoor unit if estimating that energy consumption is lower in a case of starting/stopping the outdoor unit than in a case of continuing control over an upper limit of a rotational speed of a compressor. In this case, the main controller prohibits the outdoor unit from starting until energy-saving stop keeping time tkeep since the outdoor unit is stopped (S103: Yes) or until an air conditioning load temperature difference &Dgr;Ts is equal to or greater than a start permission temperature difference (DTstart+δ) (S105: Yes). This δ is set according to a user's set energy saving rate. It is thereby possible to keep comfort while suppressing the frequency of starting/stopping the outdoor unit. |
